Services

In mochabug Adapt variables have been centralized per tenant, this to simplify managment, audits etc. A variable is anything that the application author has decided should be possible to share between different differenct vertices and projects.

Credentials are always served through our proxy and are never exposed to the application. Variables are a different thing: they are shared directly with the application, so use them only for non-sensitive information.

Manage existing variables

In application management there is another tab Services where you can see all services that you have configured in workspaces, projects or individual vertices.

You can choose to list all services or group them together by application or simply search for the service you are looking for and update credentials or other variables.

To change a service, press the pen icon and change variables value. Updating the label and description won’t affect any bindings or running deployments and is purely for you own sake to make sure it’s easy to find.

When updating variables in Services this will affect Deployments that are running. Make sure your updates are valid so no running deployments break.
